3 Tips to World of Warcraft Leveling: The Race to End Game Play

World of Warcraft is indeed a worldwide phenomena. Millions of people gather daily from around the globe to accomplish any number of goals, from killing dragons to slaughtering opposing factions.

As of Cataclysm, there are 85 character levels in World of Warcraft and each level opens up a whole new angle to the game. While there are 85 levels it is often said that the game doesn't really start until you reach level 85.

Level 85 is often referred to as "End Game" play as this is when you begin experiencing the hardest, most challenging aspects of the game; arena, rated battlegrounds, heroic instances, raids, guild politics, and gearing up are but a small portion of the new facets you get to experience at level 85.

End game really is where most players gain the most enjoyment from World of Warcraft. What then of the first 84 levels?

They are not without importance; this is where you learn how your character works and how to exploit your class's abilities.

As important as the first 84 levels are actually grinding your way through them can be every time consuming and often frustrating.

While there are many ways to speed up your leveling experience such as grinding out instances and playing in battlegrounds the simplest and most efficient way to level is to complete quests.

Leveling via quests provides you with both gold and experience and when done correctly it can speed leveling dramatically, turning a leveling grind into a leveling breeze.

There are a few tips that can help you maximize questing.

First and foremost one should always log out in either a capital city such as Org or an Inn. The reason is that when you do this you gain "rested experience" which essentially doubles the amount of experience you get for killing monsters thus doubling your leveling speed.

Secondly, choosing the right quest to complete and the optimal paths to follow can make leveling in World of Warcraft extremely easy. The simplest way to do this is through a leveling guide, such as Zygor or Dugis. The long way of doing this is to map out the area you're in and then use a site such as wowhead to help you complete the quests.

Lastly, leveling with friends. This is World of Warcraft we're talking about, not World of Isolation Craft. As World of Warcraft is an MMO it would be foolish to ignore the vast community. Find a friend, start adding people to your friends list and start questing with them. As I said before, turning in quests is what really boost your experience and since you kill things twice as fast with two people having a friend at your side can often mean the difference between life and death; a fun leveling experience and tossing the game in the trash.
